The Library for a Happy Future

The Library for a Happy Future is a place to find inspiration, draw strength and meet with others. Together we seek to assemble a collection of positive visions for the future and answers to the question of how we can find enthusiasm and while responding to our challenges.

How do we bridge inner and outer development goals? And what does a “good life” mean in the first place?

The Library for a Happy Future was initiated by the organization Climate City Zurich at Werdmühleplatz, near Bahnhofstrasse, at the heart of the city. It inspired action and solutions in the areas of mobility, construction, energy, nutrition, agriculture, consumption and finance. Together, we set out to create a vision for the year 2043.

After our pilot year we have been focusing our “library building” on the topic of water and wellbeing.
